THE PROJECT
Seven teams of two people from England and Germany will come together in February 2014 to depart on a four week journey to The Gambia.
They will drive 4500 miles through seven countries and two continents. The project is no ordinary rally, where teams race against one another: there will be no 'winning' team, and the teams will endeavour to assist each other.
Amongst various preparations each team will purchase a second-hand vehicle which will be sold at the end of the trip to raise funds for the ASB health clinic (or donated directly to the clinic for their own use).
Drive to help was created by Sebastian Starke and Alex Gössel, based on a similar project in which Sebastian was a participant in 2011.
